Every year UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) opens up some of the space on its stand at Mobile World Congress to smaller UK companies that would benefit from being showcased at the event.  Last night’s Mobile Monday event at Centrepoint in London showcased the finalists vying for a place on the UKTI booth.

Each company had three minutes to present in front of the Mobile Monday audience, followed by a four minute Q&A with a judging panel made up of representatives from UKTI, ICTKTN, Telefonica, TATA and Smart UK Project.

The 10 companies pitching for a place at Mobile World Congress 2014 were:

“The standard of the ideas and pitches was incredibly high and the judging panel agreed to award every finalist company with a free pass to Mobile World Congress but ultimately the UKTI stand could only accommodate space for five winners, so congratulations to Viewranger, Capito Systems, 23snaps, 5-TILES Keyboard, and Peachinc. These companies will be showcasing their innovation at Mobile World Congress 2014 on the UKTI booth in Hall 7, Stand E100.” – Nik Renshaw
